Information protection is of the utmost importance for Info Liquidation Recycle

We are aware that all kinds of secret and confidential data relating to company activities or people’s privacy end up on hard drives and any storage media that we recover. That’s why we pay special attention to it and make sure we destroy all of that data with software that incorporates powerful algorithms that meet the standards of the RCMP, NASA and the U.S. Department of Defense. To meet our customers’ requirements, certificates of destruction of confidential data can be issued at their request, free of charge.

If, however, the recovered material is unusable, the best and most effective solution is the complete destruction of all storage media, so that the data can never be used by anyone again.

Even if you think you’ve deleted all the information from your computer, some data can’t erase from the hard drive unless you do a formatting that makes it impossible to use software to retrieve deleted data. Authorities, such as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and the OPC, recommend formatting each hard drive between three and seven times, at a rate of 45 minutes per formatting. However, if you plan to donate your computer to a recycling organization or company like Info Liquidation Recycle, most have strict confidentiality clauses.
